    • Golf Dress Code

      • Men may wear pants (including five pocket designed for golf) or appropriate length shorts. Only shirts with sleeves and collars are permitted. Shirts designed to be untucked are acceptable. Turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks with long sleeves are appropriate attire in the cooler months.

        Women may wear pants, skirts, golf shorts, or dresses with a mid-thigh length or longer. Shirts with collars are preferred however, women may wear a rounded, collarless shirt designed for golf. Shirts will cover the midriff. Yoga pants worn under a skirt are permitted for cooler months.

        The following clothing is NOT permitted at any time on the golf course or practice facility: denim or corduroy jeans, frayed pants, baggy cargo shorts, non-golf athletic apparel, t-shirts and tank tops.

        Only soft-soled shoes and golf shoes without metal spikes are permitted.

    • Tennis Dress Code

      • Apparel designed for tennis is preferred. No crop tops or short shorts. Tennis specific shirts without a collar are acceptable. No t-shirts except Youth Age 14 or younger. Yoga pants allowed for cardio tennis only, otherwise skirt or other covering required. Proper tennis shoes must be worn at all times on the courts.

    • Clubhouse & Dining Dress Code

      • Appropriate casual attire. Men will remove their hats while inside.

    • Cell Phone Policy

      • Cell phones MUST be silenced at all times. No phone calls except in the parking lot.

    • Events

      • The Leland Country Club has a spectacular view overlooking Lake Leelanau and is regularly used at a wedding venue by our members and others.

        Receptions and other events may be held at the Club at the discretion of the General Manager and the Board of Governors. However, the Club has does not allow alcohol to be served on the grounds. Food service may be arranged through the Club for private parties. Arrangements, including menus and prices, will be agreed upon with the Manager before the party.
